Linda and I have been curious to see how Lili will react and interact with her little sister. We are not too sure how much she understands that she is getting a little sister, or that we will have another child in the house.

We know she doesn’t grasp the consequences of no longer being the only child; and we understand this may be a big change for her. So we have been thinking of ways to include her in the daily care of her sister. We hope that helps easy any tensions during this transition.

It was very interesting to watch Lili look at her sister trough the nursery’s glass. She seemed to be mesmerized by the volume of babies there. For a couple of minutes she was able to focus on Cici and say hi, but that didn’t less for too long. She soon got distracted and wanted to do something else.
